In early September of 2009 the mental illusionist Derren Brown (who some seriously believe has psychic powers) shocked an entire country as he predicted a mid-week lottery draw live on national television.
Brown was so confident that he would be successful at predicting the winning numbers that Channel 4 scheduled show to be aired two days later explaining how he did predicted the numbers and how you could do it also.
The show was, of course, mere entertainment because the prediction was just a trick. Using camera tricks is not a new thing for illusionists and they rely on them far too heavily in my opinion. Derren Brown is no different. The predicted balls where always on screen. However, they were face down and therefore none of the numbers on them were visible. Clever use of a split screen technique made it easy for the television crew to change the balls.
Although the entire illusion was very impressive and required great expertise from both Brown and his television crew it was still a trick at the end of the day. If it were really possible to predict the lottery numbers wouldn't you buy a ticket?!
But what if there was a way to predict lottery numbers or at least reduce the odds of winning to a level that gave you a real chance. Would you be interested?
You see the thing about the lottery is that it is a game of probabilities and not just a game of chance like most people think it is. Lottery companies don't want you to know that you can beat the lottery. They actively promote it as a game of chance rather than a game of probabilities.
The truth is that a normal lottery ticket has very little chance of any type of success in the draw. Even buying a load of tickets will give you very little chance of winning unless you have chosen the numbers in a scientific and mathematical way.
First off you should avoid using umbers that are all even or all odd. These sequences have a very slim chance of coming up and picking them significantly reduces your chances of winning.
Pool your money with other players and play the lottery together. A syndicate that choose their numbers wisely and wheels those numbers has a much better chance of winning a lot of lottery prizes. Not just any syndicate will do. Unless syndicates play correctly they will be just a drain on any potential winnings.
When a syndicate uses a wheeling system to pick tickets they increase their odds of winning many, many, many times! A set of wheeled numbers in a 6 from 49 draw that have 8 number picks will cost the price of only 28 tickets yet it will reduce the odds against you from 14 million to 1 to only half a million to 1!
