Can You Really Predict the Lottery?

In early September of 2009 the mental illusionist Derren Brown (who some seriously believe has psychic powers) shocked an entire country as he predicted a mid-week lottery draw live on national television.

The show's producers and television executives showed enough confidence in Derren's abilities to succeed that they scheduled a TV program for that Friday explaining how he predicted the numbers.

I'm sure you realise that the entire prediction of the lottery numbers was just a trick. Using camera tricks is not a new thing for illusionists and they rely on them far too heavily in my opinion. Derren Brown is no different. Although the rack with the predicted balls always appeared to be visible and to the side of Brown you could not see the numbers on the balls because they were reversed. Through the use of a split screen Derren Brown fooled the public into thinking he had predicted the winning balls. The crew merely placed an identical rack with the winning balls on it, after the draw had taken place, and removed the split screen.

Many people are disappointed when they discover that the Derren Brown lottery prediction was just a trick (even though they are rarely surprised). If Brown really had the powers to successfully predict lottery draws he would be playing lotteries all over the world and be an extremely wealthy man!

So, although some people got excited about Derren Brown's experiment and thought they could use his techniques to pick winning lottery numbers (which were merely for show) they were disappointed when they didn't work for them.

However, what if there was a way to win the lottery without tricks that could be used to buy real tickets and win real prizes. Would that be of interest to you?

You see the thing about the lottery is that it is a game of probabilities and not just a game of chance like most people think it is. We often hear that you have a better chance of being struck by lightning than winning the lottery and the odds of winning are only 1 in 14 million and many more negative facts about playing lottos.

The truth is that a normal lottery ticket has very little chance of any type of success in the draw. Even buying a load of tickets will give you very little chance of winning unless you have chosen the numbers in a scientific and mathematical way.

First off you should avoid using umbers that are all even or all odd. These sequences have a very slim chance of coming up and picking them significantly reduces your chances of winning.

Pool your money with other players and play the lottery together. A syndicate that choose their numbers wisely and wheels those numbers has a much better chance of winning a lot of lottery prizes. Not just any syndicate will do. Choose a syndicate that uses mathematics and systems to pick tickets or else you will just be wasting your money.

Syndicates that wheel their numbers win much more often than those that do not. A set of wheeled numbers in a 6 from 49 draw that have 8 number picks will cost the price of only 28 tickets yet it will reduce the odds against you from 14 million to 1 to only half a million to 1!

There are other many other small and easy to apply steps you can take to ensure you consistently win prizes on the lottery.

  1. Hi
A lottery is a form of gambling which involves the drawing of lots for a prize.Lottery is outlawed by some governments, while others endorse it to the extent of organizing a national or state lottery. It is common to find some degree of regulation of lottery by governments. At the beginning of the 20th century, most forms of gambling, including lotteries and sweepstakes, were illegal in many countries, including the U.S.A. and most of Europe.
