Why You Should Not Play the Lottery

I recently read an article on a blog where the author answered the question "how do you win the lottery?" with the silly answer "don't play". Citing the fact that you have almost zero chance of winning the jackpot the author claimed that you have almost the same odds of winning the lottery as someone who never bought a ticket. This is one blogger who has no idea how to work with mathematics although, as you will see, he thinks he does!

Of course it is difficult to win the lottery. I will highlight some reasons why you have almost no chance of winning a prize. What is not commonly known is that the terrible odds the lottery offers apply only to ordinary tickets.

Most people have heard that you have a better chance of being struck by lightning than winning a lottery jackpot. The blogger I mentioned previously also pointed out that, with odds of 1 in 88,000, you have a better chance of dating a supermodel than winning the lottery and that, with odds of 1 in 20,000 you have a better chance of being killed by an asteroid than winning the big prize.

While these statistics are interesting, entertaining and fairly accurate they misrepresent the lottery slightly. The blogger in question was pointing out that the lottery is a game of chance yet continued to use statistics to back up his point.

Using probability and mathematics to show that some strange and unlikely events are more likely to occur than a jackpot lottery win the blogger actually proved that the lottery is not a game of chance but a game of probabilities! So although he claimed that the lottery was a game of chance he proved it was actually a game of probability!

What the blogger fails to realise is that you can use the law of probability to alter your odds in the lottery. In his supermodel example, outlined above, an ordinary guy has 1 in 88K chance of dating a supermodel but do you think these odds would stay the same for that guy if he got a job that put him in close proximity of supermodels every day?

It makes sense right! You have a 1 in 88,000 chance of dating a supermodel when you work in a supermarket but when you work with supermodels and talk to them every day you obviously have a better chance of dating one!

Likewise, buying a lottery ticket in standard 6 from 49 lotteries gives you only 1 in approximately 14,000,000 chance of winning the jackpot. Using some simple mathematical models, however, that are based on the law of probability it is easy to increase your odds of winning by a lot.

So by incorporating a scientific approach to buying tickets you can work with the law of probability to help you win some prizes. Surely this is a much better option that the silly advice not to play offered by the blogger.

I hope you can see that our friendly blogger made some assumptions about the lottery which are not entirely accurate. It is not merely a game of chance and while he went to great lengths to show that it is he used probability and maths to do it - which shows it is also reliant on those things.

Blog Your Way to Lottery Success

In a fairly recent post on a hupage blog a blogger answered a question posed about the lottery. After being asked if it was possible to win the lottery he said it was if you don't play! Citing the fact that you have almost zero chance of winning the jackpot the author claimed that you have almost the same odds of winning the lottery as someone who never bought a ticket. He obviously doesn't know how to play the game!

There are many reasons not to expect a win on a lottery game. Now there are many, many reasons for thinking that winning the lottery is so far-fetched of a goal that it is silly to even play. I will show you some of those reasons here. However, these apply only to ordinary lottery tickets.

Did you know that many experts claim you have a better chance of being hit by lightening than winning a jackpot prize on the lottery? The blog post mentioned earlier also highlighted that a man has a better chance of dating a super-model (1 in 88K) than he has of winning the lottery. The author also stated that there is a better chance of being hit by a falling rock from the sky (odds of being killed by an asteroid are apparently 1 in 20K) than there is of hitting a lottery jackpot.

Let's put things into perspective here. The statistics offered by our well-meaning blogger may be technically correct they do not tell the whole story. Even though the blogger went to great lengths to demonstrate that the lottery was a mere game of luck and chance he continued to use mathematics and probability to prove his point - strange that you would use probability and maths to prove chance!

He used a probability model to explain that certain improbable events are more likely to occur than winning the lottery. So although he claimed that the lottery was a game of chance he proved it was actually a game of probability!

Well the good thing about probability is that it can be worked with. In his supermodel example, outlined above, an ordinary guy has 1 in 88K chance of dating a supermodel but do you think these odds would stay the same for that guy if he got a job that put him in close proximity of supermodels every day?

It makes sense right! A normal guy can greatly increase his odds of dating a supermodel just by making sure he meets some! By getting a job where he works with supermodels or socialising in places where supermodels socialise or just by going to places where they are he will greatly increase his odds of actually dating one.

The same applies to playing the lottery. Only a normal ticket, bought in the normal way, gives you terrible odds. Like 1 in 13,983,816 for the National Lottery in the UK. However, when you use mathematics and work with the law of probability you can reduce these odds very significantly and give yourself a real chance of winning.

Of course buying a standard ticket gives you odds that are so low you are better saving your money but using a proven system that works and uses mathematics and probability to increase your chances of winning is much better than just not playing.

I hope you can see that our friendly blogger made some assumptions about the lottery which are not entirely accurate. It is not merely a game of chance and while he went to great lengths to show that it is he used probability and maths to do it - which shows it is also reliant on those things.

How Many Tickets Do You Need To Secure The Lottery Jackpot?

Why is it the case that many lotteries around the world state that syndicated game players win more often?

There is a false belief that pervades through the lottery world that syndications win more often because there are more players to invest in more tickets. We will investigate how much truth there is in this belief and whether buying more lottery tickets can increase your chances of winning a prize.

There is also the belief that avoiding numbers that have already occurred in the draw can increase your chances of winning because those same numbers will not be drawn again.

For a start it makes no difference how many times a ball has been drawn or how little it has been drawn. It has the same chance of being drawn in every single game regardless of its past appearances or lack of them. The truth is every time the lottery draw takes place there is the same chance of a set of numbers coming up every week regardless of if they have been drawn before.

Every lottery draw is a completely new game that is not connected to any other. Most people believe that if a combination of numbers are drawn and form the winning line that the next week they are less likely to be drawn but this is far from the truth.

There is no way that any lottery draw or set of lottery balls can remember previous lottery draws - let me explain. They do not remember previous draws. Every draw in a lottery is a separate draw. It is not connected to any other draw.

When you have a random ticket for a 6 from 49 lottery draw your chances of winning the lottery are 1 in approximately 14 million. That gives you approximately a 1 in 14 million chance of winning the lottery. How bad is that? Buying more tickets does not increase this number because each ticket is individual and unconnected to the other (when tickets are bought without using a mathematically based lottery system) and you therefore still have approximately a 1 in 14,000,000 chance of winning.

However, once you realise that each combination and each number has exactly the same chance of being drawn every week you can start to become a much wiser lottery player.

So to start winning lottery prizes you should avoid systems that rely heavily on analysing past lottery draws and start to use proper mathematical systems to help you increase your odds of winning.

Studying patterns of past draws is unlikely to increase your odds in the lottery. What you must do is start using mathematical systems that work with the law of probability which is what the lottery is based on.

There are scientifically proven mathematical formulas that can be used to increase your odds of winning on the lotto ; even if those wins are not the jackpot but smaller prizes that stack up. To win the jackpot prize you will need to add a splice of luck to the equation but if you do get that lucky with a good lottery system believe me when I say you will not be the first and certainly not be the last! The more you use a good lotto system the luckier you tend to get.

Does Playing More Tickets Increase Your Chances in the Lottery?

In many lotteries we can see that syndicates of lottery players, usually playing through groups formed at work, win the top lottery prizes more often than individual players?

There is a false belief that pervades through the lottery world that syndications win more often because there are more players to invest in more tickets. However, buying more tickets may seem like the reason for a syndicates success but it is really not the reason.

There is also the belief that avoiding numbers that have already occurred in the draw can increase your chances of winning because those same numbers will not be drawn again.

Numbers that are drawn or not drawn have just as much chance of being drawn in any game regardless of how many times they have been drawn before. It makes absolutely no difference to a draw or the odds of a number been drawn how many times that number has been drawn in previous games.

This is because each draw is separate and unique. Most people believe that if a combination of numbers are drawn and form the winning line that the next week they are less likely to be drawn but this is far from the truth.

Lottery machine and lottery balls are inanimate objects. They have no memory. They cannot recall how many times a number has been drawn. Each draw is a stand-alone event unconnected to the previous draw or the next draw.

When you have a random ticket for a 6 from 49 lottery draw your chances of winning  the lottery are 1 in approximately 14 million. These odds are just not very good at all and playing with such odds leaves you little chance of winning. Buying more tickets does not increase this number because each ticket is individual and unconnected to the other (when tickets are bought without using a mathematically based lottery system) and you therefore still have approximately a 1 in 14,000,000 chance of winning.

It is time to play the lottery in a smarter way. Now that you know that every ball has the exact same chance of being drawn you need a better strategy to win.

So to start winning lottery prizes you should avoid systems that rely heavily on analysing past lottery draws and start to use proper mathematical systems to help you increase your odds of winning.

Any amount of data from past lottery draws will not help you increase your chances of winning a lottery prize. It is about manipulating your odds by using the laws of probability.

Through the use of mathematical systems you can dramatically improve your odds in the lottery and almost ensure you win consistently - smaller prizes won consistently can sometimes equal or outnumber a jackpot prize! To win the jackpot prize you will need to add a splice of luck to the equation but if you do get that lucky with a good lottery system believe me when I say you will not be the first and certainly not be the last! The more you use a good lotto system the luckier you tend to get.

Maybe it is time to stop dreaming about a lottery win and start experiencing them. Check out the 5 times winning maths professor's lotto system at how to win the lottery. You can also watch a video about the bets lottery software that comes with a double-your-money-back guarantee.

How to Pick Lottery Winners like Derren Brown

On the 9th September 2009 mental illusionist Derren Brown astounded the British public by seemingly predicting the winning lottery numbers for the Wednesday night draw that had a jackpot of almost 2 and a half million.

The show's producers and television executives showed enough confidence in Derren's abilities to succeed that they scheduled a TV program for that Friday explaining how he predicted the numbers.

The show was, of course, mere entertainment because the prediction was just a trick. Brown used a camera trick to pull off the stunt successfully. The balls that Brown had placed (face down so you couldn't see the numbers) were replaced just after the draw. The balls were not actually beside Brown because he was using a split screen technique like those used in movies when an actor plays two parts and interacts with himself. It was just a matter of replacing the spilt screen with a full screen after the draw when the crew could place a replica of the ball rack containing the correct balls on it.

Although the entire illusion was very impressive and required great expertise from both Brown and his television crew it was still a trick at the end of the day. Let's face it if Derren was really able to predict the numbers he would have bought a ticket!

However, even though Derren use a trick there are ways to increase your odds so significantly that winning on the lottery seems like an eventuality rather than the result of pure blind luck.

Although winning a big jackpot prize on the lottery always requires a certain amount of luck winning the lottery is more about probability than luck and probability can be manipulated! We often hear that you have a better chance of being struck by lightning than winning the lottery and the odds of winning are only 1 in 14 million and many more negative facts about playing lottos.

It is true that if you get a lucky dip, or other randomly computer generated ticket, or play just one or two tickets with randomly selected numbers that you have an extremely slim chance of winning the lottery. However you can do some very simple things that greatly increase the likelihood that you will win a good prize.

Never use numbers that run in sequence. For example 1,2,3,4,5,6 has never been drawn in any lottery in the world and probably never will be - so don't use that sequence!

Secondly, you can join a syndicate. Also consider playing with friends and family members. Syndication groups have a better chance of winning prizes when they play the right way. You can't just join any old syndicate and expect to win prizes however. Unless syndicates play correctly they will be just a drain on any potential winnings.

However if the syndicate uses a wheeling system to pick its lottery tickets then you can reduce your odds of winning by many millions. A set of wheeled numbers in a 6 from 49 draw that have 8 number picks will cost the price of only 28 tickets yet it will reduce the odds against you from 14 million to 1 to only half a million to 1!

Follow the above steps and you will significantly increase your chances of winning prizes in the lottery. There are, of course, other things you can do to increase your chances even more.

How Did Derren Brown Predict The Winning Lottery Numbers?

As the British summer drew to a close on a Wednesday night live on Channel 4 in the UK Derren Brown appeared to successful predict all 6 lottery numbers before they were drawn live on TV.

The show's producers and television executives showed enough confidence in Derren's abilities to succeed that they scheduled a TV program for that Friday explaining how he predicted the numbers.

Of course the entire thing was merely a trick. Without going into the details of exactly how Brown did it we can reveal that it was a camera trick. Although the rack with the predicted balls always appeared to be visible and to the side of Brown you could not see the numbers on the balls because they were reversed. Clever use of a split screen technique made it easy for the television crew to change the balls.

Some people truly believe that Brown predicted the lottery but he didn't. It was merely a trick. If it were really possible to predict the lottery numbers wouldn't you buy a ticket?!

However, even though Derren use a trick there are ways to increase your odds so significantly that winning on the lottery seems like an eventuality rather than the result of pure blind luck.

You see the thing about the lottery is that it is a game of probabilities and not just a game of chance like most people think it is. We often hear that you have a better chance of being struck by lightning than winning the lottery and the odds of winning are only 1 in 14 million and many more negative facts about playing lottos.

The truth is that a normal lottery ticket has very little chance of any type of success in the draw. Even buying a load of tickets will give you very little chance of winning unless you have chosen the numbers in a scientific and mathematical way.

Never use numbers that run in sequence. For example 1,2,3,4,5,6 has never been drawn in any lottery in the world and probably never will be - so don't use that sequence!

Secondly, you can join a syndicate. Also consider playing with friends and family members. Syndicates win more often. You can't just join any old syndicate and expect to win prizes however. Unless syndicates play correctly they will be just a drain on any potential winnings.

Syndicates that wheel their numbers win much more often than those that do not. A set of wheeled numbers in a 6 from 49 draw that have 8 number picks will cost the price of only 28 tickets yet it will reduce the odds against you from 14 million to 1 to only half a million to 1!

There are other many other small and easy to apply steps you can take to ensure you consistently win prizes on the lottery.

You can easily use wheeling systems without having to work out the boring mathematics behind them with lottery software that comes with a 60 day double-your-money-back guarantee.

Not Playing the Lottery?

I recently read an article on a blog where the author answered the question "how do you win the lottery?" with the silly answer "don't play". Due to the huge odds that are stacked against an ordinary lottery player the blogger mentioned claims that to win the lottery you must simply not play and keep your money. This is one blogger who has no idea how to work with mathematics although, as you will see, he thinks he does!

Of course it is difficult to win the lottery. Now there are many, many reasons for thinking that winning the lottery is so far-fetched of a goal that it is silly to even play. I will show you some of those reasons here. What is not commonly known is that the terrible odds the lottery offers apply only to ordinary tickets.

The odds of winning any lottery jackpot regardless of its type are so stacked against you that you often have a better chance of being dead by the time of the draw than winning! The blogger I mentioned previously also pointed out that, with odds of 1 in 88,000, you have a better chance of dating a supermodel than winning the lottery and that, with odds of 1 in 20,000 you have a better chance of being killed by an asteroid than winning the big prize.

Let's put things into perspective here. The statistics offered by our well-meaning blogger may be technically correct they do not tell the whole story. The blogger in question was pointing out that the lottery is a game of chance yet continued to use statistics to back up his point.

He used a probability model to explain that certain improbable events are more likely to occur than winning the lottery. So although he claimed that the lottery was a game of chance he proved it was actually a game of probability!

This blog post does not tell you, because the author doesn't know, that the law of probability can easily be worked with to alter odds in any game of probability! For example do you believe you could bring down the odds of dating a supermodel from 1 in 88,000 if you got a job working with super models?

It makes sense right! When the guy works a normal job and socialises in normal places then he has a 1 in 88,000 chance of dating a supermodel but if the same guy works with supermodels or is in places where he meets supermodels every day then his chances of dating one of them will be greatly increased.

The lottery works the same way. Buying an ordinary ticket in a 6/49 lotto (like in the UK) gives you a 1 in 13,983,816 chance of winning the jackpot. Using some simple mathematical models, however, that are based on the law of probability it is easy to increase your odds of winning by a lot.

As you can see you can take advantage of some easy to apply methods for increasing your chances of winning on the lottery that involve mathematics and science or of course you could just follow the advice of our friendly blogger and not bother playing at all.

People who play, or comment on others who play, the lottery should get all sides of the story. Just believing that pure luck is the only way to win the lottery is nonsense. The blogger mentioned proved that the lottery is not a game of chance but is under the direct influence of the law of probability and mathematics because he used those things to try and prove his point!

The Bloggers Way to Winning the Lottery

I recently read an article on a blog where the author answered the question "how do you win the lottery?" with the silly answer "don't play". Because the odds of winning a lottery jackpot prize are so low the author contends that you can only win the lottery by not playing and keeping your money. He obviously doesn't know how to play the game!

There is no question about the fact that winning a lottery jackpot prize is a difficult task to accomplish. I will highlight some reasons why you have almost no chance of winning a prize. However, these apply only to ordinary lottery tickets.

These stats are very entertaining to read but they do not really give a correct view of the lottery. Using probability and mathematics this blogger tried to prove that the lottery is a game of chance. If you can apply the law of probability and mathematical equations then surely it cannot be a mere game of chance.

By taking the law of probability and using the mathematics behind it this poster inadvertently proved that the lottery is not a simple game of pure luck and chance but is, in fact, a game based on probabilities!

This makes perfect sense doesn't it? A normal guy can greatly increase his odds of dating a supermodel just by making sure he meets some! By getting a job where he works with supermodels or socialising in places where supermodels socialise or just by going to places where they are he will greatly increase his odds of actually dating one.

Myths About Lottery Systems

Why is it the case that many lotteries around the world state that syndicated game players win more often?

Win it comes to syndicates winning more often that single lottery players it seems logical to assume it is because they buy more tickets. Although having more tickets in a draw may seem like a good way of increasing your chances of winning that draw when it comes to the lottery the odds are so infinitesimal that having more tickets does not make any difference.

Every time there is a lottery draw that draw is essentially a one-off event. Even though its seems sensible and right to think that if a number or group of numbers have been drawn before that they are less likely to be drawn again, at least in the foreseeable future, this is not the truth of the matter.

Lottery machine and lottery balls are inanimate objects. They have no memory.

It is time to play the lottery in a smarter way. Now that you know that every ball has the exact same chance of being drawn you need a better strategy to win.

Now instead of using lame lottery systems that are designed around commonly drawn numbers or analysing past draws you must look for lottery systems that deal with real mathematics.

Studying patterns of past draws is unlikely to increase your odds in the lottery. What you must do is start using mathematical systems that work with the law of probability which is what the lottery is based on.

By using properly constructed maths systems you can work with the law of probability to help you win lottery prizes ; smaller prizes won consistently can sometimes equal or outnumber a jackpot prize! To win the jackpot prize you will need to add a splice of luck to the equation but if you do get that lucky with a good lottery system believe me when I say you will not be the first and certainly not be the last! The more you use a good lotto system the luckier you tend to get.

Can You Really Predict the Lottery?

In early September of 2009 the mental illusionist Derren Brown (who some seriously believe has psychic powers) shocked an entire country as he predicted a mid-week lottery draw live on national television.

Brown was so confident that he would be successful at predicting the winning numbers that Channel 4 scheduled show to be aired two days later explaining how he did predicted the numbers and how you could do it also.

The show was, of course, mere entertainment because the prediction was just a trick. Using camera tricks is not a new thing for illusionists and they rely on them far too heavily in my opinion. Derren Brown is no different. The predicted balls where always on screen. However, they were face down and therefore none of the numbers on them were visible. Through the use of a split screen Derren Brown fooled the public into thinking he had predicted the winning balls. The crew merely placed an identical rack with the winning balls on it, after the draw had taken place, and removed the split screen.

Many people are disappointed when they discover that the Derren Brown lottery prediction was just a trick (even though they are rarely surprised). Let's face it if Derren was really able to predict the numbers he would have bought a ticket!

So, although some people got excited about Derren Brown's experiment and thought they could use his techniques to pick winning lottery numbers (which were merely for show) they were disappointed when they didn't work for them.

However, what if there was a way to win the lottery without tricks that could be used to buy real tickets and win real prizes. Would that be of interest to you?

Before we go further into the simple ways that you can beat the lottery you should first realise that the lottery is not dependant on as much luck as you have been lead to believe!

Firstly, you should avoid using consecutive numbers like, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. Numbers that run in a sequence are never drawn and probably never will be.

Secondly, you can join a syndicate. Also consider playing with friends and family members. Syndication groups have a better chance of winning prizes when they play the right way. However, the syndicate you join must play the lottery in a certain way for you to benefit from it. Choose a syndicate that uses mathematics and systems to pick tickets or else you will just be wasting your money.

When a syndicate uses a wheeling system to pick tickets they increase their odds of winning many, many, many times! A simple set of 8 wheeled numbers will reduce the odds of a jackpot prize in a 6/49 lotto draw from 1 in almost 14 million to 1 in 499,422. The odds of winning smaller prizes are also significantly reduced. All with only 28 tickets!

Follow the above steps and you will significantly increase your chances of winning prizes in the lottery. There are, of course, other things you can do to increase your chances even more.

How Would You Spend A Lotto Prize?

Imagine for a moment that you won a big lottery prize. Visualize how you would feel joining the ranks of all those other lucky lottery winners. I am inviting you to expand your vision. I am not talking about a measly million or even two. We are referring to multi-millions of dollars or pounds in very big draws. I am sure you can think more than a few things you could do with all that cash.

Do you know how you would use all that money? Are you sure in yourself what way you will divide a portion of your money between family members and friends? We all know of cases where people won the lottery just to lose it all and end up broke. All of us have heard about men and women who had their lives ruined because they did not handle their lotto wins correctly.

You do not want that to happen to you.

But avoiding this is easy. All you have to do is be prepared. Having a simple plan for your winnings before you win them can mean you avoid the curse of the lottery winners!

Doing this also puts you into a great emotional state and is very pleasant to do. Immersing yourself in the pleasure of experiencing a lottery win is a great deal of fun.

Doing this little mental exercise also prepares you for success. Believe it or not our thoughts and feelings have much more impact on our lives than most of us give them credit for.

Thoughts are driven by feelings and thoughts drive your actions. It is your actions that determine you results!

If you fail to follow my advice then at least do this - if you win and have no plan for your winnings do not let your name be printed and made public. When everyone hears of your good fortune it is surprising how many friends you suddenly have!

But you should really have a plan for what you will do with the money. You can do this by living the dream in your mind now. It may prove to be the best time you ever spent when you watch your lottery numbers come in!

Myths About Lottery Systems

Why is it the case that many lotteries around the world state that syndicated game players win more often?

Many people believe syndicates win lottery prizes more often simply because they buy more tickets. However, buying more tickets may seem like the reason for a syndicates success but it is really not the reason.

You may also think that avoiding the use of winning numbers from the previous weeks draw (or choosing "hot" numbers) will increase your chances of winning.

First let's look at the belief that if a set of numbers come up one week they are less likely to come up the next week or the week after or ever. The truth is every time the lottery draw takes place there is the same chance of a set of numbers coming up every week regardless of if they have been drawn before.

This is because each draw is separate and unique. Most people believe that if a combination of numbers are drawn and form the winning line that the next week they are less likely to be drawn but this is far from the truth.

Lottery balls, and lottery draws, have no memory. They cannot recall how many times a number has been drawn. Each draw is a stand-alone event unconnected to the previous draw or the next draw.

When you have a random ticket for a 6 from 49 lottery draw your chances of winning  the lottery are 1 in approximately 14 million. That gives you approximately a 1 in 14 million chance of winning the lottery. How bad is that? If you buy ten tickets and you just have ten 1 in 14 million chances - your odds do not get any better.

Any amount of data from past lottery draws will not help you increase your chances of how to win the lottery prize. Using scientific probability equations is much more likely to bring you a lottery win!

Through the use of mathematical systems you can dramatically improve your odds in the lottery and almost ensure you win consistently - even if those prizes are not jackpots they can mount up and bring in lots of money. With a bit of luck and good mathematical system you could even grab the jackpot prize.

Do More Tickets Equal More Chances to Win on the Lottery?

When you play the National Lottery and a few USA State Lotteries you are often told that syndicates win the jackpot s more often. Why is this?

Win it comes to syndicates winning more often that single lottery players it seems logical to assume it is because they buy more tickets. However, buying more tickets may seem like the reason for a syndicates success but it is really not the reason.

Many people also belief that if a set of numbers come up you should not pick them in following draws because they are less likely to be drawn.

For a start it makes no difference how many times a ball has been drawn or how little it has been drawn. It has the same chance of being drawn in every single game regardless of its past appearances or lack of them. You see in any lottery draw anywhere in the world it makes no difference what balls were drawn the week before or the month before or the year before. Every draw sees a new chance for any ball to be drawn.

Every time there is a lottery draw that draw is essentially a one-off event. It may seem logical to assume that if a number combination has been drawn in the lottery that this combination will not happen again for a very long time (if ever), but this is simply not the case.

There is no way that any lottery draw or set of lottery balls can remember previous lottery draws - let me explain. They retain no memory of previous lottery games. Every draw in a lottery is a separate draw. It is not connected to any other draw.

Buying a ticket in the National Lottery in the UK gives you odds of only 1 in 13,983,816 of winning the jackpot. That's approximately 1 in 14 million - not very good odds.

Now instead of using lame lottery systems that are designed around commonly drawn numbers or analysing past draws you must look for lottery systems that deal with real mathematics.

Studying patterns of past draws is unlikely to increase your odds in the lottery. Using scientific probability equations is much more likely to bring you a lottery win!

Through the use of mathematical systems you can dramatically improve your odds in the lottery and almost ensure you win consistently - even if those wins are not the jackpot but smaller prizes that stack up. With a bit of luck and good mathematical system you could even grab the jackpot prize.

Myths About Lottery Systems

In many lotteries we can see that syndicates of lottery players, usually playing through groups formed at work, win the top lottery prizes more often than individual players?

Many people believe syndicates win lottery prizes more often simply because they buy more tickets. We will investigate how much truth there is in this belief and whether buying more lottery tickets can increase your chances of winning a prize.

You may also think that avoiding the use of winning numbers from the previous weeks draw (or choosing "hot" numbers) will increase your chances of winning.

Numbers that are drawn or not drawn have just as much chance of being drawn in any game regardless of how many times they have been drawn before. The truth is every time the lottery draw takes place there is the same chance of a set of numbers coming up every week regardless of if they have been drawn before.

This is because each draw is separate and unique. Even though its seems sensible and right to think that if a number or group of numbers have been drawn before that they are less likely to be drawn again, at least in the foreseeable future, this is not the truth of the matter.

There is no way that any lottery draw or set of lottery balls can remember previous lottery draws - let me explain. They do not remember previous draws. Each draw is a stand-alone event unconnected to the previous draw or the next draw.

With an ordinary lottery ticket, no matter how you chose the numbers, gives you terrible odds. A 6/49 draw gives you a mere 1 in 13,983,816. These odds are just not very good at all and playing with such odds leaves you little chance of winning. Even if you have one hundred tickets picked randomly (like an average ticket) then you only have one hundred 1 in 14 million chances of winning. Which means you still have a 1 in 14 million chance of winning!

Any amount of data from past lottery draws will not help you increase your chances of winning a lottery prize. What you must do is start using mathematical systems that work with the law of probability which is what the lottery is based on.

There are scientifically proven mathematical formulas that can be used to increase your odds of winning on the lotto - even if those prizes are not jackpots they can mount up and bring in lots of money. However, mathematics, common sense and a good degree of luck could land you that big lottery prize you have been dreaming about.

Can You Really Predict the Lottery?

In early September of 2009 the mental illusionist Derren Brown (who some seriously believe has psychic powers) shocked an entire country as he predicted a mid-week lottery draw live on national television.

The show's producers and television executives showed enough confidence in Derren's abilities to succeed that they scheduled a TV program for that Friday explaining how he predicted the numbers.

I'm sure you realise that the entire prediction of the lottery numbers was just a trick. Using camera tricks is not a new thing for illusionists and they rely on them far too heavily in my opinion. Derren Brown is no different. Although the rack with the predicted balls always appeared to be visible and to the side of Brown you could not see the numbers on the balls because they were reversed.

If Brown really had the powers to successfully predict lottery draws he would be playing lotteries all over the world and be an extremely wealthy man!

You see the thing about the lottery is that it is a game of probabilities and not just a game of chance like most people think it is. We often hear that you have a better chance of being struck by lightning than winning the lottery and the odds of winning are only 1 in 14 million and many more negative facts about playing lottos.

The truth is that a normal lottery ticket has very little chance of any type of success in the draw. Even buying a load of tickets will give you very little chance of winning unless you have chosen the numbers in a scientific and mathematical way.

First off you should avoid using umbers that are all even or all odd. These sequences have a very slim chance of coming up and picking them significantly reduces your chances of winning.

Pool your money with other players and play the lottery together. A syndicate that choose their numbers wisely and wheels those numbers has a much better chance of winning a lot of lottery prizes. Not just any syndicate will do. Choose a syndicate that uses mathematics and systems to pick tickets or else you will just be wasting your money.

How Did Derren Brown Predict The Winning Lottery Numbers?

Clever use of a split screen technique made it easy for the television crew to change the balls.

Although the entire illusion was very impressive and required great expertise from both Brown and his television crew it was still a trick at the end of the day. If it were really possible to predict the lottery numbers wouldn't you buy a ticket?!

But what if there was a way to predict lottery numbers or at least reduce the odds of winning to a level that gave you a real chance. Would you be interested?

You see the thing about the lottery is that it is a game of probabilities and not just a game of chance like most people think it is. Lottery companies don't want you to know that you can beat the lottery. They actively promote it as a game of chance rather than a game of probabilities.

Unless syndicates play correctly they will be just a drain on any potential winnings.

When a syndicate uses a wheeling system to pick tickets they increase their odds of winning many, many, many times! A set of wheeled numbers in a 6 from 49 draw that have 8 number picks will cost the price of only 28 tickets yet it will reduce the odds against you from 14 million to 1 to only half a million to 1!

Working With Lottery Systems

If you are foolish you will listen to all the naysayers out there who tell you that you will never win the lottery. It is true that having one (or even many) lottery tickets that include numbers chosen in the usual ways will most probably never win you a prize. But, with a little knowledge and a good plan you can leave the realms of the ordinary lottery players and join the ranks of the lottery winners. It is completely true that there are methods that you can use to improve your odds so dramatically that winning the lottery seems almost an inevitability!

Winning the lottery does not have to be just a matter of pure chance. With a normal lottery ticket, that has numbers chosen at random with some lame non-mathematical system, you have almost no chance of winning a prize. In the UK , or any other 49 ball lotto draw, your chances of winning the jackpot are just 1 in approximately 14 million!

Those odds suck!

However, there are many things that you can do to increase your chances of winning big in the lottery and reduce your odds significantly. In this article I will show you 2 ways that are very effective. In fact the first method for choosing numbers that I am going to show you will reduce your odds form 1 in approximately 14 million to 1 in approximately 1.7 million. That is a 12 million reduction!

Reducing your odds by twelve million only requires you to have 1 guaranteed number on your ticket. Ensuring that you have 1 number correct is an easy thing to so. It only takes 9 tickets in a 6/49 lottery draw to ensure you have at least one number correct - because you play every possible number.

This means that you will have at least 1 number correct and therefore only need to be lucky with 5. This is why your chances are so greatly increased. Isn't that an easy way to reduce the odds against you by millions?

Now that is a fantastic way to reduce your odds but 1 in 1,712,304 is still not great. If you want to give yourself a realistic chance of winning the big one you will surely want better odds than that.

The second strategy for reducing the terrible odds and giving yourself a real chance in the lottery costs just $28 (or £28 in the UK) will reduce the odds from 1 in 13,983,816 to a brilliant 1 in 499,422 and that is just for the jackpot!

What's more if you do get all 6 numbers correct you also don't just win the jackpot you win 28 prizes in total!

But that is not all. The odds of winning smaller prizes are reduced to almost unbelievable levels.

Using the system also reduces your odds of winning a 5 + bonus prize to approximately 1 in 230,000. You will also win many additional prizes. To win a 5 number prize you have an unbelievable 1 in 1,953 chance. They are amazing odds for just a 29 dollar stake!

Even your chances of winning your money back (and usually a few bucks extra) and 1 in 227.

Win the Lottery

There are a lot of people who will tell you how difficult it is to win the lottery. This means that you will have at least 1 number correct and therefore only need to be lucky with 5. This is why your chances are so greatly increased. Isn't that an easy way to reduce the odds against you by millions?

A twelve million reduction is great but let's face it 1 in 1.71 million still is not great! For the jackpot prize win that we want we will need to reduce the odds even further than that!

With this next method for picking lotto numbers you can give yourself a very healthy 1 in 499,422 chance of landing the jackpot and it only requires twenty eight separate lines. That' s £28 or $28 for a 1 in half a million chance of winning the jackpot!
